The Rebranding to Dexterity Media
In anticipation of questions we will likely receive from industry insiders, the press, clients and associates, here are some quick answers for the most obvious questions about our recent rebranding.
Why did you change your name? With forays into social media and other emerging markets, we wanted a name that identified us as flexible, nimble and ready to adapt. Dexterity Media accomplishes that for us.
What new services are you offering? It's not that these are new services, but they are starting to come into play more. We’ve undertaken projects in social media for some of our clients that include podcast and video production, as well as blogging. We are also actively involved in helping our clients make the most of sites like YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and other social media destinations.
In addition to our podcast portal Media Swamp, we’ve also created a social media tracking site called SocialTrackr, a social networking resource directory that allows users to register their blogs, podcasts, vidcasts, etc, making them easier to find for users of similar interests.
What was wrong with the old name? Nothing was wrong with it, and it was with much consideration that we voted to change our name. We simply feel this new name gives us broader appeal and encompasses much more than our old name was capable of. We were known primarily as a Search Advertising firm, and there’s far more to what we do than simply search.
