"Changing Times Call For Creative Change"

Dexterity Media will be going through many changes over the next few months.  The first change is our name from Dexterity Media to DMI (Dexterity Media International).  We felt a name change was in order to support our direction change as a company. 


Our next change, and probably the most important one, is to move from being an "agency" to a consultancy.  "What's the difference?" you may be asking yourself. 

In our experience, agencies typically promote that they can do everything a business may need of them under one roof.  While that may be true for the small percentage that are actually reputable, it doesn't hold true for the larger percentage that really can't do it all.  Another thing we’ve learned is that most agencies don't spend the time educating their clients and prospective clients to ensure they know how their marketing dollars are being spent.

We know this because we used to be an agency.  It's difficult to try and be everything to everyone.  So what we want to do is do what we do best:  EDUCATE AND COMMUNICATE. 

As a consultancy we will work at educating companies on how this crazy world of online marketing works. We will act as a liaison between companies and the talent/agencies with whom they work to ensure projects are completed with realistic expectations, timing, and budgets.    We want to ensure the client and the agency/talent achieve value on both ends. 

Having been an agency we know what obstacles agencies face when trying to find new clients. One of the most important things an agency/talent must do to ensure client retention is probably one of the simplest but most missed traits:  communication.  We will strive to open the lines of communication between agencies/talent and businesses. 

These times are challenging.  Businesses need up-to-the-minute communication, attention to detail, integrity, dependability, organization and enthusiasm.  In short, a true Partner!  DMI will work to ensure that your marketing investment stays protected by keeping your agencies/talent accountable for the work they do and for how they spend your budget.
